Hi there! My name is Farzana, and I am very passionate about Indian food and in particular home cooking. Through my blog I will share with you recipes, new flavours, and my experiences of eating out. I believe that Indian food can, contrary to popular belief, be healthy and that it doesn’t have to take hours to prepare. Using my blog I will show you ways in which you can reduce the amount of time spent cooking, whilst maintaining the essential flavours.
I grew up surrounded by Indian food, where the classic Punjabi dishes were often slow cooked to infuse the flavours. Indian spices were carefully prepared to give the dishes their wonderful taste and aroma. My interest in cooking became apparent at the age of 10 when I started cooking traditional curries, and often found myself following my mother around the house, calling on her expertise. Later on in life, I decided to combine both my teaching background with my cooking skills, in order to open up my own cooking school. My dream has been to teach others how they can make an authentic curry in the comfort of their own home.
